Revolution Recap (I just baptized 24 people and boy are my arms tired)

Last night, we began our new series, H2O, where we look at baptism and why we do it, what it means, etc.

We talked about Philip and the Ethiopian Eunuch last night and the immediate obedience of the Ethiopian upon coming to know Jesus as his savior (“look, there is some water. What prevents me from being baptized?”). We gave our students who had accepted Jesus as their savior the opportunity for immediate obedience & be baptized; A spontaneous baptism, if you will. When all was said and done last night, we had 24 students take the first step of obedience in following Jesus in baptism. It was an AMAZING night! I got home and was so jacked I had to get on the eliptical machine for a good 30 mins to burn off the rest of my adrenaline and then still couldn’t fall asleep for a couple hours. I’m so proud of our students for their obedience to what God has called them to do. Now, they just need to keep taking the next step, and the next step, and the next step in following Jesus the rest of their lives.
